Tuition – For the month of September you can pay tuition for the month at your Open House Night or the first week of school.  Tuition for October – May will be due on the 1st of every month!  Tuition is divided equally for all 9 months.  So, you will pay the same tuition each month even though we are off for Christmas Break and Spring Break for example.  If tuition is paid after the 1st of the month you will have to pay a $15.00 late fee.

You can pay online by going to the “registration” tab and then “payment portal.”  You can pay by check or cash by putting it in an envelope and writing your child’s name and their teacher’s name on the envelope.  I will attach a payment page with other payment options for your convenience.

Emergency Medications – Any emergency medications need to be turned in to school by Open House Night.  Your child must have the Medication and Administration of Medication forms turned in by the first day of school.  If these are not turned in by the first day of school your child will have to wait to begin school.  Please let the director know directly if your child has an allergy or any medical issues

Physical – All students must have a physical on file within 30 days of starting school.  This is located on the last page of the attachment to this email with the enrollment paperwork.

Clothes – Please make sure your child is dressed in comfortable clothes which can get messy while at preschool.  We will be outside on the playground, and we will be using a lot of different materials for projects.  Please put your children in regular shoes; sandals and flip-flops can be dangerous, especially on the playground.

Change of clothes – Sometimes children have spills or accidents, we recommend you send a change of clothes in a Ziploc bag with their name on it. We will keep the bags in your child’s bookbag for the entire year.

Backpacks – Please have your child use a regular size backpack for school.  There are some backpacks that are hard to deal with and we find that the regular sized ones work best.  We want your child’s projects to come home as neat as possible!

Newsletters – Please make sure you read newsletters when you get them.  They have the information you will need for the month, such as our monthly focuses, calendar of events, snack calendar, etc.

Snacks – Each month we will send home a snack calendar and ask each child to send in prepackaged snacks to share with their classmates. Absolutely no nuts, chocolate, or milk.  We may have other allergies that we will need to adapt to, and we will let you know more about that when school starts.

Lunch – For our all-day children, families are responsible for packing their lunch for them. They will not be going in a refrigerator, so please add a cold pack if needed or put hot items in a thermos.  Please keep your child’s lunch 90% healthy!  If a child has an allergy in our lunch group we will let the families know what we can’t have during lunch time.

Safety Information – We think at Faith Preschool it is important for your child to learn what we call “Safety Information.”  This includes their name, age, birthday, phone number, address, and their parent’s name.  When they have all of their information memorized, we make a big deal of it and they get a prize from the prize box!  Please go over this information with your child regularly.  If you want your child to learn something other than what we have for this information, please talk with your child’s teacher.

Monthly Bible Verse – Please go over the Bible verse for the month with your child.  When they learn the verses for the month, they will get a prize from the prize box.  We keep track of who recites them each month and they get a prize at the end of the year if they memorize them all!

Blooming with Good Books – We think that reading is very important for children, and we have a program called, Blooming with Good Books.   You read with your child and keep track of the books you have read.  After you read 20 books, have them bring in the list and they will get a prize from the prize box!  The child who reads the most books in each class will get a gift at the end of the year!

Star of the week – We like to put your child in the spotlight as much as we can, and we like to do this by having one child be the star of the week.  When they are the star of the week you will get a packet of information from your child’s teacher with things to prepare for when your child is our star of the week!  The kids love this, and we enjoy getting to know our friends better.

Band– Band is a great way for us to communicate with you!  We will also be able to send you pictures of your child learning and having fun as well as keeping communication open with each parent and teacher on a daily/weekly basis.  We will also use this app to send home newsletters, snack calendars, reminders, etc.

Restroom – Please make sure your child has used the restroom before he/she gets to school.  It takes out a big chunk of our time if we have to take the children to the restroom many times during their school day.  We will have a restroom break midway through our class time.

ALL CHILDREN NEED TO BE POTTY TRAINED BEFORE THEY CAN ATTEND OUR PROGRAM.  If a child has accidents regularly, we will ask them to stay home until they are potty trained. Thank you for your understanding!

Coats – Please put your child’s name on their coats, jackets, etc.  Sometimes these things look similar to the children, and they take the wrong item home.  Then we do not know who it belongs to when they bring it back.

If you ever have any questions or need anything you can contact me through Band, e-mail me at faithpreschool5555@gmail.com or call me at 937-233-4771.

Blessings,

Kelley Britt
